SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 10, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Altera Corporation (Nasdaq: ALTR) today announced it was named the "Best Financially Managed Semiconductor Company" by the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA). Altera was presented with the award at the GSA Awards Dinner Celebration held December 9 in Santa Clara, Calif.
