Ambassador John Bolton Endorses And Contributes To The Gillespie Campaign

WASHINGTON, July 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- John Bolton's PAC contributes the maximum amount to Ed Gillespie's general election campaign and the Ambassador makes a strong endorsement of Ed Gillepsie's run for Senate. Gillepsie is running against incumbent Senator Mark Warner. GOP officials have pointed to the Virginia election as critical and a win as necessary to swing the Senate back to Republican control.

This is the 10^th endorsement and contribution from Ambassador Bolton's PAC, which has already made contributions to U.S. Senate candidates Tom Cotton (AR), Joni Ernst (IA), Terri Lynn Land (MI), and Mitch McConnell (KY), along with U.S. House of Representatives candidates Martha McSally (AZ-2), Barbara Comstock (VA-10), Adam Kinzinger (IL-16), Robert Dold (Il-10), and Mike Pompeo (KA-4). The combined money raised for the two PACs is $4 million to date with nearly $3 million cash on hand.

Additionally, on Thursday, July 17^th, the John Bolton Super PAC ran it's first independent expenditure against New Hampshire Representative Ann Kuster (NH-2) for avoiding questions about the Benghazi tragedy and stating that Benghazi is not part of the Middle East: http://boltonsuperpac.com/baffled/.
