AMC Health Engages Bruce Matter, Top Industry Sales Executive, As SVP of Sales & Client Development
NEW YORK, Nov. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AMC Health, the leading provider of real-time patient management solutions recognized for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare for high-risk patients, announced today that Bruce Matter has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Sales and Client Development. Matter brings more than 25 years of sales, client relations and marketing experience to AMC Health. In this newly created position, he will expand AMC Health's engagement and partnerships with hospitals, health systems, accountable care organizations (ACOs) and health insurers to improve their patient care and reduce costs with customized, remote monitoring-based care coordination solutions.

Most recently Matter served as a Sales/Practice Leader for GE Healthcare North America's revenue cycle, electronic medical record and population health enterprise solutions. Previously, he was Executive Vice President at Preminic, Inc. where his contributions to the company's growth and customer satisfaction helped achieve a successful merger with Verge LLC.
Matter was also Executive Vice President at GetWellNetwork, where he drove exponential sales growth over a three-year period. He played a major role in securing VC capital, and his sales leadership contributed to the company being acquired by private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. Matter also held several executive positions at Eclipsys Corporation, McKesson Inc., Cerner Corporation, and IBM.
Matter received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration/finance from Southwest Baptist University.
His community service includes serving on the local boards of the YMCA, Memphis Partners, Save the Children, United Way, Cystic Fibrosis and Junior Achievement and volunteering for a wide variety of organizations including Tennis in the Hood, Caring Callers, and the Special Olympics.
