American Association for Justice Announces C. Gibson Vance as President for 2010-2011
WASHINGTON, July 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- C. Gibson Vance was announced today as the new president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) at the organization's annual convention. Vance will spearhead AAJ's mission of making sure people have a fair chance to receive justice through the legal system, even when it means taking on the most powerful corporations.

Vance has practiced law for over 17 years and is currently a shareholder with Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C. in Montgomery, Ala., specializing in personal injury litigation and consumer fraud cases. Vance has also served as president of Montgomery County Bar Association, Montgomery Trial Lawyers Association, the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation, and the Alabama Association for Justice.
Vance graduated from Troy State University (B.S.) and Jones School of Law (J.D.). He is married to Kate Vance and they have two children, Carter and Andrew.
