American Beacon Advisors Launches American Beacon Acadian Emerging Markets Managed Volatility Fund

FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- American Beacon Advisors ("American Beacon"), an experienced provider of investment advisory services to retail and institutional clients, today launched the American Beacon Acadian Emerging Markets Managed Volatility Fund (Institutional Class: ACDIX, A Class: ACDAX).

The American Beacon Acadian Emerging Markets Managed Volatility Fund seeks to identify lower-risk emerging market stocks to construct a carefully risk-managed portfolio. The Fund's sub-advisor, Acadian Asset Management ("Acadian"), pioneered their Managed Volatility strategy in 2006 in order to give investors the opportunity to achieve market-like returns with significantly less risk than capitalization-weighted indices. Acadian considers return forecasts as well as long- and short-term risk estimates during construction of the Fund's portfolio, which holds benchmark and non-benchmark securities. Founded in 1986, Acadian now manages nearly $60 billion in assets and employs over 200 professionals worldwide.
