"The isolation and limitations of a debilitating chronic illness are challenges to keeping a life of purpose and joy. With the help of the CITGO Fueling Good program, we can extend our education and support programs so that patients can do more than survive; they can thrive," said Lori Chapo-Kroger, president of CFS Solutions. "As a Michigan registered nurse and someone with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, I can't overstate the impact that this donation will make on our operations. In today's economy, running a small nonprofit is very difficult, and we are so grateful to CITGO and American Gas & Oil for this generous donation."

Since it was founded in 1988, CFS Solutions has worked with the community to assist individuals with neuro-endocrine-immune disease through offering support, education and resources for patients, families and healthcare providers.

"As a resident of West Michigan, I jumped at the opportunity to join CITGO in recognizing CFS Solutions and all of the wonderful work it does for men and women throughout the region," said Jason Berris, vice president at American Gas & Oil. "I'm so impressed by the hard work of Lori Chapo-Kroger and all of the folks at CFS Solutions, and I'm so grateful to CITGO for inviting me to be a part of this incredible gift."
