American Lorain Branded Youtiao Products Enter into over 400 Wal-Mart Stores in China
LINYI, China, Dec. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- American Lorain Corporation (NYSE MKT: ALN) ("American Lorain" or the "Company"), an international processed snack foods, convenience foods, and frozen foods company based in the Shandong Province, China, today announced that the Company has gained high recognitions from Wal-Mart with respect to product quality and management capability. American Lorain branded Youtiao products will be supplied to over 400 Wal-Mart stores in China.
American Lorain and Wal-Mart have maintained a long-term and stable relation of cooperation in China. After detailed discussion and negotiation, Wal-Mart intends to sell Lorain branded Youtiao product over 400 stores across the country. As part of cooperation, Wal-Mart also agrees to promote Lorain branded Youtiao on its public platform, like Weibo and WeChat. The recent transaction with Wal-Mart will substantially drive the Company's revenue and further improve the Lorain brand awareness in China. This may also lead to other products supply opportunity to Wal-Mart in the future.
