Inaugural event honors leading partners of the American Nurses Enterprise and celebrates $52.6 million invested to strengthen nurses, well-being, and innovation nationwide
ATLANTA, Oct. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) will host its inaugural Celebration Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, bringing together more than 230 attendees, including national funding partners, corporate executives, and health system leaders. The event, hosted by the American Nurses Foundation (ANF), celebrates philanthropy, partnership, and the measurable impact of nurses across the nation.
Over the past five years, ANF has invested $52.6 million across 136 grants, directly touching the lives of more than 3 million nurses nationwide.
This year's program will feature the presentation of three national honorees:
- Community Impact Honoree: National CARES Mentoring Movement – recognized for its transformative affiliate network that provides healing, connection, and workforce development opportunities to underserved youth across 58 U.S. communities.
- Foundation Impact Honoree: The United Health Foundation – celebrated for its longstanding partnership with ANF, including a $3.1 million investment in peer and leadership support for nurse well-being, COVID-19 response funding, and new scholarships for nursing students. The Foundation was established by UnitedHealth Group in 1999 as a nonprofit, private foundation dedicated to improving health and health care.
- Corporate Impact Honoree: Kaiser Permanente – honored for its pioneering partnership with ANF on the Reimagining Nursing Initiative, the largest and most ambitious effort in ANF's history, with 44 nurse-led pilots now active in 41 states and shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
The Celebration Dinner will also feature "Voices of Gratitude" — real stories from grantees and partners demonstrating how ANF support drives innovation, strengthens nurse well-being, and builds a diverse pipeline of future nurse leaders:
- Saving lives through nurse data: the CONCERN Early Warning System reduces hospital mortality risk by more than 35%, expanding into pediatric units with ANF support.
- Innovation at the bedside: ChristianaCare's pioneering Nursing Research Fellowship in Robotics and Innovation is equipping bedside nurses with research skills to advance robotic science in nursing practice that has implications for future workforce development.
- Building healthier workplaces: USA Health University Hospital has reduced burnout through ANF's Nurse Well-Being: Building Peer and Leadership Support program, now expanding hospital-wide.
- Advancing behavioral health care for 50+ years: ANA's Minority Fellowship Program empowers nearly 1,000 psychiatric-mental health nurse leaders and supports the education of new fellows dedicated to serving in underinvested communities.
