American Pakistan Foundation Announces Addition to Board of Directors
NEW YORK, April 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Pakistan Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of A. Salman Amin to its Board of Directors.
The American Pakistan Foundation (APF) seeks to effectively catalyze long term economic development and social change in Pakistan by directly supporting development initiatives and by building partnerships with key stakeholders in Pakistan and the United States.
Salman Amin is the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at PepsiCo, a global food and beverage leader with a product portfolio that includes 22 brands that each generate more than $1 billion in annual retail sales. Salman is based in Purchase, New York and currently drives the global marketing strategies and plans for PepsiCo worldwide. He has held a variety of senior positions with the company since joining in 1995. Prior to PepsiCo, Salman spent ten years at Procter & Gamble in brand management for businesses in the U.S., Germany, Middle East, and Asia. He has previously served on the board of The British Asian Trust.
