American Sentinel University and Colorado Hospital Association Name Parker Adventist Hospital Nurse as May Colorado Health Care Star

AURORA, Colo., June 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- American Sentinel University and the Colorado Hospital Association (CHA) named Shari Aman, RN, BSN, MBA, CPHQ at Parker Adventist Hospital located in Parker, Colo., as the May Colorado Health Care Stars Award winner. This award recognizes Aman as an exceptional health care professional.

Colorado Health Care Stars is a statewide health care professional award recognition program sponsored by American Sentinel University and CHA. The program was launched in February 2015 to acknowledge clinical professionals in Colorado who exceed expectations in the delivery of health care.

In addition to serving as the director of quality and safety at Parker Adventist Hospital, Aman is deeply engaged in supporting the development of clinical leaders through coaching, mentoring, and providing in-services and education. Aman specifically works to reduce hospital-acquired conditions and infections, educates on the qualities of high-reliability organizations and the improvement of quality and patient safety.
