American Solar Direct Names Steven Walden as Vice President of Sales, Channel Partners
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- American Solar Direct, a leading residential solar energy provider in California, announced today the appointment of Steven Walden as Vice President of Sales, Channel Partners.
In this new role, Walden will be responsible for identifying, building, and nurturing new relationships with key sales partners. Walden's mandate is well-aligned with American Solar Direct's growth objectives in 2016, as it aims to extend the reach of its residential solar product and service offerings to more customers in additional territories.
Walden will lead American Solar Direct's efforts to recruit, develop and support the solar energy sales partners. Through these sales partnerships, American Solar Direct offers its turnkey back office support and leading installation services to both experienced solar sales teams, as well as to existing field sales organizations looking to add solar to the portfolio of services they are able to offer customers.
Walden brings more than 20 years of experience in revenue development and business management to American Solar Direct. Prior to this appointment, Walden served as National Director of Sales at SunEdison, where he was responsible for increasing revenue growth and managing relationships with third-party vendors and partners. Walden also held several high-level managerial positions with Masco, Milgard Windows, and Weathershield, where he launched and directed multiple national programs with partners and dealers that led to increased revenue streams.
