FLINT, Texas, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT), in partnership with The Lake Havasu City Hospitality Association is proud to present a weekend of pride, patriotism and American entertainment. The weekend, September 24 - 26 is part of the 10 day Patriot Days event which kicks off today in Lake Havasu, AZ. The 10 day festival of freedom, patriotism and community support for American Heroes culminates with a weekend of flagship events.
On Friday, September 24, Patriot Days presents the God, Country & Freedom Rally. The rally is a unique opportunity for people to gather together and hear a variety of inspirational and patriotic speakers talk about our great country.
Pastor Z (Fred Zariczny) of the Bikers For Christ and Rushing Wind Ministry will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers from the local and national stage will include Veterans, members of Military, Police, Firefighters and American Heroes. The rally will serve as a venue for the participants to come together and celebrate freedom, share their patriotism and love of this great country with exceptional speakers, fantastic music and fireworks.
Country music up-and-comer Andy Velo is the featured headliner of the evening. Andy brings his signature Southern rock to LHC Patriot Days as he celebrates the release of his single "Hank It Up" – a tribute to the music of Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., written by country legends Charlie Monk and Rick Huckaby. The single is currently at #86 on the country music charts.
On Saturday, September 25, Patriot Days is honored and proud to present a historic outdoor Naturalization Ceremony where 25 diverse, multi-national US Service Personnel will take the Oath of Allegiance and become American citizens.
The ceremony will be conducted in front of AVTT's Traveling Wall and Cost of Freedom tributes at Windsor Four State Park in Lake Havasu, AZ. Presiding over the ceremony will be Charles Harrell, Acting Field Office Director of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Washington, DC. Local, state and US government leaders are expected to be present to honor and welcome the new Americans.
Also on Saturday, LHC Patriot Days will be presenting one of the largest air shows west of the Mississippi. Hosted at the Havasu Air Center, the show will feature a varied display of both rotary and fixed wing aircraft; antique and modern. Following the air show, a very special USO Tribute Show will be presented as homage to the classic entertainment which brought relief from the war to American soldiers and sailors throughout the years.
"I could not be more excited about a line-up of entertainment. We have brought together a truly unique combination of performers which exemplify the spirit of Patriot Days. We have the perfect blend of patriotism, pride and American spirit!" said Don Allen, CEO of AVTT.
