Americas Cardroom Recaps Venom Day 1C and Back-to-Back Sunday Banana Wins

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, Oct. 14, 2026/PRNewswire/ -- Americas Cardroom's October 11 tournament schedule added 63 NLH and 17 PLO qualifiers to its $6.5 million guaranteed Dual Venom PKOs and awarded seven $30,000 Paradise packages. The Sunday lineup also produced two six-figure cash winners.

The $5 million guaranteed NLH Day 1C attracted 496 entries. Following flights A, B and C, the event stood at 1,205 entries and 175 Day 2 qualifiers. owens9397 led the cumulative chip standings with 336.99 big blinds. Day 1C bounty leader herramusta advanced with a $10,156.25 bounty total.

The $1.5 million guaranteed PLO flight drew 142 entries. Its cumulative field reached 359 entries and 42 qualifiers, led by LawyerDad68 with 458.61 big blinds. Pepareg1 led the Day 1C bounty standings at $9,218.75.

JAMERECIA won $118,989.89 in the VSpecial Sunday High Roller - $600,000 GTD. kingqueensuited earned $108,320.79 in the Venom Special Sunday Banana - $500,000 GTD, while HanSolo47 won The Sunday Moneymaker - $300,000 GTD for $48,765. kingqueensuited also won the October 4 Sunday Banana for $96,336.64, making consecutive Sunday wins worth $204,657.43 combined.

The $1,050 Paradise Mega attracted 148 entries and awarded seven packages worth $210,000 combined. Each includes a $26,000 Super Main Event entry and SLS Baha Mar accommodation. The next Mega guarantees seven packages on October 18 at 3:05 p.m. ET.

Both Venoms retain Day 1D on October 15 and Day 1E on October 18, each at 1:05 p.m. ET with a $2,650 buy-in. Day 2 follows October 19. The current standings are qualifiers awaiting that restart, not completed Day 2 results.
