Americas Cardroom Releases Chance Kornuth Documentary on $50K WSOP PLO Event

The new documentary combines high-stakes tournament action, hand analysis and candid poker discussion.

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Americas Cardroom has released a documentary following ACR Poker Pro Chance Kornuth at the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller during the 2026 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The documentary combines tournament footage with Kornuth's analysis of difficult hands and discussions about the game.

The tournament, WSOP Event #55, drew 110 entries and created a $5.225 million prize pool, including $1,368,700 for first place. The field included Daniel Negreanu and Martin Kabrhel.

Kornuth recounts falling to 1,000 chips on Day 1 before rebuilding his stack to more than 900,000 at one point. He also discusses making two entries and reviews an aggressive bet, weighing whether a different size might have produced a better outcome.

Away from the hands, Kornuth and other players address late registration and re-entries. They consider whether limiting the time for first entries while allowing earlier entrants to re-enter could improve the experience for recreational players.

A four-time WSOP bracelet winner, Kornuth won his first bracelet in a $5,000 PLO event in 2010. He joined the ACR Poker Pro team in May 2026 and reached both Dual Mystery Bounty Venom final tables in September, finishing sixth in PLO and seventh in No-Limit Hold'em.
