Americas Cardroom Rolls Out October 1 Software Update With Wild Emojis and Progressive Mystery Bounties

Release also extends Staking Tickets to SPINZ, broadens mobile-table support and improves lobby information.

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Americas Cardroom has rolled out a software update adding new table-expression controls, Progressive Mystery Bounty tournaments, expanded staking functionality, broader mobile-table support and targeted lobby and hand-history fixes.

Players can now choose between Mild (PG) and Wild (R) collections in the Emoji Gallery. The Wild collection adds more aggressive reactions and throwables, while each player's own setting determines what appears on that player's screen. Emojis can also be disabled through Settings > Playing Experience > Gameplay.

Progressive Mystery Bounty introduces a multi-day format that combines randomly assigned mystery bounties with progressive knockout mechanics. Bounty play is locked during Day 1. After the opening flights are complete, the bounty pool is randomly distributed among players advancing to Day 2. Once Day 2 eliminations begin, half of an eliminated player's bounty is paid to the player making the elimination and half is added to that player's own bounty.

Staking Tickets now support all seven SPINZ buy-in levels, from $0.25 through $100. Purchasing and sending remain available to select users during the beta, while anyone can receive tickets.

The refreshed mobile-table design also expands from SPINZ to cash games, Blitz, tournaments, Sit & Go's, On Demand games and multi-day tournaments. Additional lobby changes can highlight selected potential overlays, while two fixes correct how certain side-pot information and guaranteed multi-day tournament prize pools are displayed.

Players can find Progressive Mystery Bounty events under the Mystery Bounty lobby filter and check the client for current availability of Staking Tickets and other updated features.
