America's Corporate Culture Forecast 2026: TaChelle Lawson Predicts the Outrage Economy Will Intensify
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Corporate America isn't drifting into cultural volatility; it's already operating inside it. As 2025 draws to a close, Executive Advisor TaChelle Lawson issues her strongest warning yet: outrage has become a business model, and in 2026, it will intensify, organize, and punish on a larger scale. Lawson, President of FIG Strategy & Consulting and author of Black is NOT a Credential: The Corporate Scam of DEI will publish America's Corporate Culture Forecast 2026 in late December 2025, and announces her new book, Culture Crisis: Inside America's Outrage Economy, releasing February 2026.
Lawson's record is predictive. In 2020, while corporations rushed to issue DEI statements, she warned there would be an expiration date and consequences for performative action; she was right. In 2023, she predicted that a Republican administration would move to cut federal DEI programs and funding; she was right. In 2024, as companies retreated from public commitments, she forecasted backlash from both sides—employees and consumers—and she was right again. "If you're a betting person," Lawson says, "bet on me. When it comes to culture, outrage, and corporate risk, my record speaks for itself."
The 2026 Forecast details where pressure will hit next and why standard corporate playbooks fail. Lawson highlights seven flashpoints enterprises must prepare for: symbolic statements that trigger external attacks; internal radicalization evolving from activism to insurrection; election-charged loyalty tests that drag brands into political trench warfare; boycott cycles that convert corporations into currency; the penalty of "no comment"; the fallout of DEI reversals (matched by equal risk in doubling down without strategy); and a new phase of accountability where executives are canceled and replaced. "The Outrage Economy is very real," Lawson adds. "And in it, anyone can have power, not just the traditionally powerful."
Lawson has opened a limited number of private Forecast Briefings in Q4 for enterprise teams, corporate boards, and media. Availability is limited and will close on December 12, 2025.
