America's Hottest Culinary Couple Heats up the Kitchen With the Debut of Their Online Cooking Series Sponsored by Pyrex® Products

ROSEMONT, Ill., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- After a nationwide search, the Pyrex® brand team has crowned Kat and Dave Fotheringham of Raleigh, North Carolina America's Hottest Culinary Couple. The couple garnered thousands of America's votes and beat out another finalist couple in a live, 30-minute cook-off in New York City in September, hosted by actor Gilles Marini of ABC's Brothers & Sisters, whose passion for all things cooking drew him to the program. The Fotheringhams took home the title, $10,000 cash, $500 in Pyrex® products and their own online video cooking series that debuts this week.

The Fotheringhams met on a blind date, got engaged after seven months, and were married 11 months later.  Now, nearly a decade later, they enjoy life in North Carolina with their four beautiful children. Ultimately, the Fotheringhams' creativity, chemistry in the kitchen and entertaining cooking style helped them to secure the title.

In their video submission for the America's Hottest Culinary Couple contest, the Fotheringhams prepared a shrimp with roasted red pepper cream sauce dish, and offered up great tips for hosting and entertaining.  The submission video secured them a spot as one of 10 semi-finalist couples, while America's votes advanced them to the top two finalists.
