AmeriHealth Caritas Goes Live on HealthSherpa's Enrollment, Billing and Reconciliation Solution

HealthSherpa expands its multi-year Health Insurance Marketplace® relationship with AmeriHealth Caritas to include HealthSherpa Marketplace Operations, bringing data integrity, billing accuracy and financial transparency to its ACA offerings.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthSherpa today announced it is expanding its relationship with AmeriHealth Caritas to include Marketplace Operations, HealthSherpa's enrollment, premium billing, and reconciliation solution for individual and family health plans offered both on and off the Health Insurance Marketplace.

AmeriHealth Caritas will utilize HealthSherpa to process and reconcile enrollments with the Health Insurance Marketplace, collect subsidy and member premiums, and work to resolve discrepancies inherent in the Health Insurance Marketplace before they affect members' bills or coverage.

The two companies have a longstanding partnership in streamlining enrollment and agent distribution for AmeriHealth Caritas' Health Insurance Marketplace plans. This expansion broadens the partnership beyond shopping and enrollment to include the day-to-day processes that help ensure members are enrolled correctly, premiums are collected accurately, and coverage stays up to date.
