Amerlux Appoints Eric Wallace to Senior Design Engineer

FAIRFIELD, N.J., June 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Amerlux, a global leader in innovation, manufacturing and creative lighting solutions, has appointed Eric Wallace to Senior Design Engineer. Mr. Wallace will work in the Pearland, Texas manufacturing facility and he will report directly to Joe Manning, Vice President of Product Development.

"Eric brings a strong technical background, solid designer skills and experience within the industry," explained Chuck Campagna, CEO/President of Amerlux. "Given our focus and commitment on growth within the exterior markets, Eric will be a valuable asset to the team."

Mr. Wallace is a key member of the new product development team focusing on exterior lighting products for a wide range of energy efficient, high performance applications. His main objective will include developing Solid State lighting solutions that feature excellent optical and thermal performance and advanced cutoffs with architectural style. Product categories will include site & area lighting, flood and accent, bollards, pathway and garage lighting, as well as other new exterior applications.

Prior to joining Amerlux, Mr. Wallace served as Engineering Manager for Toshiba International Corporation, Senior Product Design Engineer for Bega-US, Project Development Engineer for Halophane, and Senior Research Scientist/Engineer for Procter & Gamble.

He has a BS with a major in Industrial Engineering from Central State University in Wilbeforce, Ohio.
