Amerlux FINO Ceiling Wins Product Innovation Award from Architectural Products Magazine
OAKLAND, N.J., Nov. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The elegant, gracefully slim FINO Ceiling from Amerlux has received a Product Innovation Award in the Interior Lighting Category, from Architectural Products magazine, according to Amerlux® CEO/President Chuck Campagna. FINO, the first ultra shallow asymmetric indirect lighting fixture, has been re-designed and re-engineered for wall washing from ceiling mounts, supplementing the current FINO Wall Mount which is capable of providing indirect lighting on floors or ceilings for the commercial and hospitality market segments.
Judged by a group of 50 independent industry professionals, who impartially reviewed more than 300 architectural products submitted by manufacturers, the award program recognizes innovation in the development, manufacturing and refinement of building-related products. Manufacturers' contest submissions included basic product information, description of sustainable features of product materials and production, case studies illustrating product applications, and comments from architects, builders and contractors who have used the products.

At only 5/8 inches deep and as low as 6 watts per foot, this fixture is designed to create a crisp, comfortable work environment. FINO installs easily in sheet rock and features extruded construction and optics to provide the exact fit and finish for hairline joints, as well as an extruded two-piece, trimless mud frame with gear. An engineered, snap-in lens delivers maximum efficiency and excellent light transmission with an integral reflector in a high reflectance white finish. An LED driver installs easily into walls or ceilings and is accessible through the fixture for maintenance.
