AMI Central Window Plant Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management Systems
CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio, May 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Associated Materials, manufacturer of Alside, Gentek, Revere, and Preservation branded windows, announced today that its Central (Cuyahoga Falls) window manufacturing operation has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification for meeting or exceeding rigorous quality assurance standards – and is one of only a few U.S. window companies with ISO 9001 certification.
ISO 9001:2015, which is the latest version of the world's leading quality management standard ISO 9001, is designed to easily integrate with other management systems already in place, while giving increased importance to leadership action, supply chain performance and risk prevention. This compliance further promotes production of consistently high-quality products, streamlined processes and increased efficiency.
