These moves follow the closing of $9.5 million Series A round led by entrepreneur and investor Jason Ader last week.
As Chief Data Officer, Chatterjee will focus on product evolution and expanding proprietary data sets and advanced data science to further advance transparency solutions. He has an expansive background in the healthcare space, where he built enterprise-class clinical data platforms for many well-known organizations such as UCLA Health System, Catholic Health Initiatives, Microsoft HSG, Caradigm, Orion Health, Cleveland Clinic, St. Luke Medical Center, Daiichi Sankyo and Arkansas Medical Center. Additionally, Chatterjee has extensive experience designing and building large-scale, cloud-based, data-driven systems.
In his capacity as Chief Technology Officer, Eric Wilson will drive the company's technology strategy. Wilson comes to MD Insider from ScoreBig.com, the ticketing industry's first opaque marketplace for unsold live event ticket inventory. Prior to ScoreBig.com, Eric served as founder and CTO of Sidebar, CTO of GoTV Networks and was a founding member and VP of Infrastructure at JAMDAT Mobile. He also led the product and engineering efforts for an Idealab e-commerce venture and was a founding engineer at Citysearch.
New Board Member, Randy Womack, currently serves as Chief Executive Officer for Aasonn, a global provider of cloud and hybrid cloud based solutions. He has over 15 years of experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) marketplace and 25 years in technology and operations. He brings recent experience in developing a healthcare cloud ecosystem and leading sales, marketing, product, and operations teams. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer at Castlight Health, VP of Operations and Chief Information Officer at SuccessFactors, a SAP Company, and has also held sales, technology and operations leadership roles at Greylock, Digital River and Dell, two of which – SuccessFactors and Digital River – he helped take public.
