• The MAPIC Lab

MAPIC is launching the 'MAPIC Lab,' a laboratory that tracks trends in retail real estate. This new area will highlight five major market trends which will shape tomorrow's shopping experience. Four innovative French retailers will speak at a series of round tables.

• 09.30-11.00 am: Les Galeries Lafayette will discuss its special 'Fashion is you' event launched on September 30. With Virginie David, International Communication Director

• 11.00-12.30 pm: the Paris MERCI store will present its philanthropic concept dedicated to fashion and the home. With Jean-Luc Colonna d'Istria, General Manager Home

• 02.30-04.00 pm: La Monnaie de Paris (the Paris mint) will unveil its newly rehabbed site, called 'MetaLmorphoses.' With Jacques Leon, Director of Project MetaLmorphoses

• Presentation of the new shopping centre 'Les Eleis' at the heart of Cherbourg

Cherbourg Invest (Caisse des Depots, Financiere Duval group and Carrefour Property) will present the next steps of the renovation and extension work of the future shopping centre "Les Eleis", a programme implemented by the developer CFA Grand Ouest (Financiere Duval group).

World renowned retail architect Davide Padoa of Design International will present "Cleopatra Mall" which he developed in partnership with the Egyptian investment group Cleopatra Group and which won the "ARABIAN PROPERTY AWARD" this year.

Following this prestigious event, Bertrand Boulle, President of Mall & Market and Sharon Fernandez-Cavada King, Director, ERV Consulting, will give a short summary of the main conclusions reached during the Summit and will answer all journalists' questions.

The Personality of the Year prize will be given during this ceremony to Jean-Paul Freret, Director of Expansion and Real Estate and member of the executive committee of the Vivarte group.

• Final MAPIC 2010 press conference: Update of the market

Nathalie Depetro, Director of MAPIC, will sum up this 16th edition of MAPIC and present final figures of the event.
