Amplicare Appoints Matt Johnson as Chief Executive Officer, Flaviu Simihaian as Chairman and adds Jess Eberdt to the Board of Directors
NEW YORK, July 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Amplicare announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Matt Johnson, PharmD, as Chief Executive Officer effective August 1, 2018. Flaviu Simihaian, Amplicare's co-founder, will assume the role as Chairman of the Board of Directors and step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer to pursue other investment opportunities in healthcare. Jess Eberdt joins as a Director on the Board.
Johnson has served as Amplicare's Chief Operating Officer and as a Director on the Board since starting the Company in 2012. Simihaian remains a major shareholder of the company and will provide a seamless transition while remaining involved as needed. Eberdt was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Parata System; Chairman of Parelio Systems prior to its acquisition by Arthrexs and currently serves as Managing Director of TempusDurham.
