Amway Launches Positivity Project Contest

ADA, Mich., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, positivity is more important than ever as people search for relief from economic turmoil and negative headlines. To recognize and celebrate the impact positivity makes in people's lives every day, Amway is launching the Positivity Project Contest. This online program provides an opportunity for individuals to share stories about how the "Power of Positive" has changed their lives or the life of someone they know.

The Positivity Project contest will award 10 winners with prizes to help them further their efforts to share the "Power of Positive." Winners will be announced at a special ceremony hosted by renowned composer, Intelligence for Your Life founder and Amway partner John Tesh. The grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 Positivity Prize while nine others will each receive a $2,500 Positivity Prize. All entries will be captured and eventually shared online as an ongoing showcase of the "Power of Positive" in action.

The judging process for the Positivity Project contest will take place in two phases during the month of October. During the first phase, a panel of independent judges, all experts in positivity, will select 25 finalists to participate in an open voting process. For phase two, the public will vote on www.yourpositivityproject.com for the top 10 winners, who will then be invited to attend the Power of Positive Awards.

The criteria in selecting the finalists and winners will be to select the entries that most impressively reflect:

• Has the power of positive affected your life?
• Have your positive actions had an impact on others?
• Has positivity impacted the life of someone you know?
• Has someone else's positivity had a profound impact on you?
• How might you spread positivity to others if given the opportunity?
