Andrew Rubin Speaks On State And Local Tax Issues At Denver Business Series' January Legal Cafe
DENVER, Jan. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrew Rubin, J.D., LL.M., senior associate in Burleson LLP's Denver office, will share critical insights on state and local tax issues for Colorado companies at the Denver Business Series' January Legal Café.
The presentation will focus on recent tax developments in the state and around the nation impacting Colorado businesses. Topics include sales and use tax exemptions, income tax sourcing, and the impact of Amazon taxes.

Rubin has broad experience advising businesses on a variety of tax matters, from federal and international tax planning to state and local tax controversies. He has counseled companies on the state and local tax treatment of helium production, manufacturing investment credits and exemptions, and financial instruments.
As a member of the firm's Oil and Gas Transactions Group, Rubin also represents clients in the energy sector in the negotiation and drafting of oil and gas leases, purchase and sale agreements, joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, and financing and credit agreements.
Rubin earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, a Master of Laws in tax from Northwestern University School of Law, and a Master of Laws in natural resources from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
