Androvett Legal Media & Marketing Clients Win Big at Legal Marketing Awards

DALLAS, Jan. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lawyers and law firm clients of Androvett Legal Media & Marketing recently took home six "Your Honor" awards presented by the Legal Marketing Association Southeastern Chapter (LMASE) for promotional work in online and print media. Each of the six entries submitted by the Texas-based public relations and marketing firm earned either a first place or runner-up award.

The LMASE is the largest LMA chapter, encompassing 10 states: Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Interactive/Electronic Media

First Place: Shackelford Melton & McKinney's e-announcement introduced the firm's new entertainment law practice and Nashville office, leveraging their well-known client roster. Within minutes of the e-announcement distribution, the individual attorneys were receiving calls and email messages from recipients.

Runner up: Skiermont Puckett's new website communicates the firm's unique approach to Intellectual Property litigation and alternative fee structure. In addition to compelling content and intuitive site navigation, the new site also features a version for use with mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet computers. Upon the site's launch, the firm was overwhelmed by calls and emails from colleagues and media contacts. One call resulted in a feature story for the firm in a statewide legal publication.

First Place: When Houston's Ahmad, Zavitsanos & Anaipakos decided to add two name partners, Amir Alavi and Todd Mensing, the newly renamed Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anapaikos, Alavi & Mensing also launched a new brand name, AZA, to capitalize on what the firm was already called in the marketplace. The e-announcement, "The Long and Short of It," also included a link to Litigation Tips for Businesses that earned a high click-through rate.

First Place: This clever, animated video for Houston litigator John Kim brought client testimonials to life and quickly became an online viral success. During the weeks following the video's launch, visits to the firm's website increased tenfold and Google recognized the spot as a regional trend for the week. One of the calls generated by the video has resulted in a multimillion-dollar referral for Mr. Kim.

Promotional Item

First Place: Dallas' Rose•Walker has a longtime ad campaign using original cartoons to gently poke fun at the legal profession. This 2012 desk calendar features a year's worth of signature Rose•Walker cartoons. The firm's clients and prospects adore the calendars, often calling the firm for additional copies.

Direct Mail

Runner up: Sayles Werbner name partners Dick Sayles and Mark Werbner earned TEX-ABOTA Trial Lawyer of the Year honors, with Mr. Sayles garnering the 2011 award, a unique distinction for two lawyers within the same firm.
