Angeion Group Appoints Former SEC Distribution Leader Nichola Timmons as Executive Vice President, Legal Operations & Strategy

SEC veteran to drive government programs, accelerate bankruptcy growth, and enhance fund distribution capabilities

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Angeion Group, a leading provider of legal notice and administration services, today announced the appointment of Nichola Timmons as Executive Vice President, Legal Operations & Strategy. In this role, she will spearhead Angeion's public and private remediation programs, advance its bankruptcy practice, and further strengthen the company's fund distribution operations with enhanced compliance and audit-ready processes.

Timmons joins Angeion after 26 years at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she built and led the Office of Bankruptcy, Collections, Distributions & Receiverships (BCDR). She guided the return of $2.7 billion to investors while modernizing policies and workflows that strengthened transparency and efficiency. Prior to establishing the BCDR, she oversaw the SEC's distributions program, directing more than 400 cases that delivered $4.4 billion back to investors.
