Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance Releases Latest "My Real Life Moment: Baby Aiden"

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Serrena Garcia, a young mother with a beautiful smile explains how grateful she is to be headed out on a lifesaving journey with her son.

Baby Aiden was born with a serious digestive condition. Although he was receiving care at home in Arizona, he needed specialized medical care that was only available in Boston.  At just five months old, Baby Aiden was taking his very first trip on an airplane; traveling to Boston Children's Hospital for potentially life -saving treatment. On a warm day in July of 2013, accompanied by Angel MedFlight's team of neonatal nurses, mom and baby departed from the Scottsdale Airport.

Serrena was also looking forward to reuniting her family. Aiden's dad, John Garcia, had just finished a tour of duty and was reassigned to a naval base in Boston where Baby Aiden would be treated.

"This is just a lot to take on and I'm going through a lot myself, so to have everybody take care of it, it's really nice to have that happen…I'll have a lot to do when I get there," Serrena explained.

Happily, the family was reunited at the airport in Boston. The gratitude expressed on the parent's faces as they hold their son says it all.
