Angels on Call Homecare Achieves Second Re-Accreditation, Reinforcing National Leadership in Specialized Parkinson's Care
First U.S. homecare provider to earn CPDC accreditation continues raising the standard for Parkinson's care at home through advanced clinical oversight, workforce education and specialized care delivery
PEEKSKILL, N.Y., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Angels on Call Homecare has successfully achieved Certified Parkinson's Disease Care (CPDC) re-accreditation through PMD Alliance for the second time, reinforcing the organization's national leadership in specialized Parkinson's care at home.
Angels on Call originally became the first homecare provider in the United States accredited in Certified Parkinson's Disease Care (CPDC) through PMD Alliance. Its second successful re-accreditation reflects continued investment in maintaining specialized Parkinson's expertise across clinical leadership, education, case management and direct-care delivery.
As part of the renewal process, six members of Angels on Call's clinical leadership team also successfully completed CPDC Advocate recertification, further strengthening the clinical infrastructure supporting its Parkinson's care model.
"The future of Parkinson's care cannot begin and end inside a neurologist's office. The disease is lived at home in medication schedules, movement, nutrition, sleep, routines, falls, freezing episodes and thousands of decisions families make between appointments," said Eric J. Dalton, Vice President & Visionary of Angels on Call Homecare. "If homecare is going to become a true extension of the healthcare system, specialized knowledge has to reach the people standing beside the patient every day. We are not trying to participate in the standard of Parkinson's care at home. We are working to define it."
Angels on Call's Parkinson's program combines specialized Care Professional education with advanced RN-led clinical case management, ongoing oversight and individualized care planning. Its clinical leadership team brings advanced expertise in Parkinson's disease and Dementia, providing Care Professionals and families with continuing guidance as symptoms, mobility and care needs evolve.
The organization also participates Parkinson's Foundation Community Partners in Parkinson's Care (CPPC) program, extending Parkinson's-specific education to direct-care staff and reinforcing practical strategies around medication timing, mobility, safety and person-centered support. Angels on Call Homecare is the only provider in the nation combining CPDC Accreditation and CPPC Designation.
The re-accreditation follows a series of independent recognitions for Angels on Call, including 2026 Best of Home Care Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice honors, and continued participation in the CareScout Quality Network—adding further external validation to an increasingly specialized model of care.
"This accomplishment demonstrates that this is not an initiative or a temporary distinction—it is an organizational standard," said Robert Dalton, CEO & CFO of Angels on Call Homecare. "We have continued investing in the clinical leadership, education and operational systems necessary to deliver highly specialized care consistently. That is the level of infrastructure families navigating Parkinson's disease should expect from homecare."
