ANHAM FZCO, LLC Awarded $2.2 Billion Prime Vendor Contract in Kuwait and Iraq

WASHINGTON, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 15, 2010, the U.S. Government announced that it has awarded the Prime Vendor contract to ANHAM FZCO, LLC to provide full-line food and non-food distribution and support services in Kuwait and Iraq. The contract requires ANHAM to provide a range of food products – from fresh fruits and vegetables to Meals Ready to Eat (MRE's) and other operational rations. The contract is estimated at a total aggregate dollar value of $2.16 billion, including options if exercised, with a maximum contract dollar value of $6.47 billion. The initial contract period is 18 months, with options to renew the contract up to six years.
