Animal Dermatology Clinic Portland Poised to Expand Operation at New State-of-the-Art Clinic
PORTLAND, Ore., April 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Animal Dermatology Clinic (ADC) Portland is pleased to announce the expansion of a new state-of-the-art dermatology specialty practice in Portland, OR. The 3,200 square foot facility will be home to five spacious exam rooms, designated cat and dog only spaces, and a special procedures room to perform biopsies, allergy testing, video otoscopy, and diagnostic testing.
The new space will include a modern design with great attention to detail given to the layout with a focus on creating a fear-free environment for patients and an enjoyable experience for pet owners. Customizations will focus on improving patient flow, comfort and staff efficiency. The design will incorporate elements inspired by Portland's natural surroundings and icons from nature utilizing wood finishes, stone and natural color palettes.
The clinic will start receiving cases May 1st with the design and construction for the final buildout anticipated to be completed by September 1, 2017. An open house for referring veterinarians, clients, and local representatives from various animal health companies will be hosted in the early fall. During the transition phase, until final buildout is completed, our dermatologists will be collaborating with local practices to perform specialized procedures such as video otoscopy.
The clinic is conveniently located along the I-205 interstate near shops and restaurants in the Clackamas Square Shopping Center. This new location will accommodate ADC Portland's growth to expand their services within the community while continuing to provide clients and their pets with high quality dermatology, otology, and allergy care.

Dr. Ashley Bourgeois completed her bachelor's degree at Iowa State University and graduated from the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She then completed a one year small animal internship at Purdue University. After finishing her internship, she completed a residency position with Animal Dermatology Clinic Tustin, California in 2011 and earned her accreditation as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.
Dr. Catherine Milley grew up in western Canada where she earned her Bachelor's degree at the University of Calgary and went on to graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Upon graduation, Dr. Milley worked for one year at a mixed animal practice in Alberta seeing her patients in-clinic and on-the-farm. She then spent six years practicing small animal medicine and surgery in St. Albert, Alberta. It was there that Dr. Milley discovered her passion for veterinary dermatology and decided to pursue a specialty career in the field. Dr. Milley completed her residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic, Louisville, Kentucky and earned accreditation as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.
