Animecoin Foundation Partners with D3 To Apply For .anime Top-Level Domain

Partnership will unlock interoperable Web3 identities for Animecoin community members

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- D3 Global, the next-generation domain name company and DomainFi infrastructure leader, today announced an exclusive partnership with Animecoin Foundation to apply for and obtain the .anime Top-Level Domain (TLD).

In collaboration with Animecoin and its early contributor, Azuki—a leader in web3 anime—this initiative represents a key milestone in establishing an official interoperable name service for users within the Animecoin ecosystem. Once the .anime TLD is approved by ICANN, the organization that manages and maintains the Internet's core infrastructure, D3's network will allow for real and interoperable .anime domains to be used across the traditional Internet and Web3. This collaboration also empowers builders within the Animecoin ecosystem, including Azuki, to leverage the .anime TLD to connect and grow their global community—bridging traditional internet and Web3 users. By doing so, Azuki and others can engage and onboard new anime fans where they already are.

When approved, members of the Animecoin community will be able to use:

• Yourname.anime as a website address
• [email protected] as an email address
• Yourname.anime as a multi-chain wallet address
• @yourname.anime as a verified username across Web3 platforms
