Ann Arbor Digital Devices debuts the first ever digital motion x-ray image capturing device for conventional medical x-ray installations

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Chiropractic Association National Convention & Expo 2013, August 22, 2013 -- The A2D2 1713-MOTION a direct digital x-ray, Motion and or Still image retrofit system is compatible with most medical x-ray generators including single phase and three phase, standard and high frequency x-ray machines.

The 1713-MOTION is the first digital imaging device to acquire motion x-rays at a rate of 30 images per second or in still mode deliver a 21 mega pixel image with 4024x3016 true pixels. Image capture mode is switchable from Still to Motion with one click of the computer mouse.

Motion studies appear on the computer screen in 10 seconds and 5 seconds for Still images after a x-ray exposure. This is not a fluoroscopic product and has the potential to replace a constant exposure fluoroscopic study system for half the equipment cost. If installed as a retrofit to an existing x-ray machine the savings will be greater.

The suggested retail price for the A2D2, 1713-MOTION retrofit system is $29,500.00. Installed, "Motion Fitted" to your existing x-ray machine by replacing the bucky with the 1713-MOTION detector and staff technique training all completed in one day. The 1713 Still image system price is $22,500.00 and is field upgradeable to the complete Motion system for $7,000.00.

All systems come with a Dell Computer, a high contrast monitor and the A2D2, DICOM compliment software with PACs. All systems and software are wholly developed and owned by A2D2. The 1713-MOTION system is patent pending.
