Ann Hinshaw Joins Rubenstein Public Relations

NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard Rubenstein, president of Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR), announced today that Ann Hinshaw has joined the firm as a Vice President to oversee the agency's expanding entertainment practice. Hinshaw brings an extensive background managing public relations campaigns for numerous television, film, theater, new media, and publishing companies over the course of her career.

Prior to joining RPR, Hinshaw served as an Account Supervisor at DKC Public Relations, where she played an integral role in developing media strategies and securing in-depth features, trend stories and column items for clients including Marvel Entertainment, Showtime Networks, Syfy, "The Dr. Oz Show" and Lionsgate Films. Hinshaw was also responsible for organizing red carpet media and talent for premieres, special events and award shows. Before DKC, Hinshaw was the Director of Publicity for Film Movement, an independent and foreign film distributor, and also held publicity positions at 20th Century Fox and Terry Hines & Associates.

Hinshaw holds a B.S. in Radio, Television and Film and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
