After successful introduction in US and Europe, SKYN® condoms were launched in China and Brazil and will now launch in India, Thailand and Vietnam.
Ansell yesterday launched a major global marketing campaign leveraging TV, Billboards, web and social media for SKYN®condoms, positioning it as the condom that 'Changes Everything'.
The product has proved exceptionally successful, recording a 47% increase in sales last year and contributing to the strong Ansell results for the 1st half FY 2012. Such popularity is attributed to the brand's superior polyisoprene material, which delivers additional sensitivity and comfort, exceeding any other product available globally.
Recent research showed that two-out-of-three surveyed users described it as their 'best condom experience ever' and that 66% of condom-users convert to SKYN® condoms once they have experienced the unique benefits of polyisoprene. Significantly, it showed women are as involved as men in purchasing condoms and 95% of all respondents would recommend SKYN® condoms. (*)
