Anthony Gucciardi Donates to Help Feed 525,000 People in Austin
AUSTIN, Texas, June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Natural health and self-development author, speaker, and activist Anthony Gucciardi has launched a charitable donation to an Austin-based non-profit that will help provide over 525,000 meals to those in need.
"I've always been shocked by the reality that over 43 billion pounds of food is thrown into the trash each year by grocery stores that could have otherwise helped to wipe out the hunger crisis. To me, it is insane that grocery stores are dumping $15 billion worth of food into the garbage that is perfectly edible.
