Anthony Signs Licensing Agreement With Glacier

SYLMAR, Calif. and JOHANNESBURG, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Anthony, a portfolio company of Los Angeles-based investment firm Aurora Capital Group, announced this month that it has completed its licensing agreement with Glacier, a business unit of Universal Industries.

Anthony is a leader in the U.S. commercial refrigeration industry and the world's largest manufacturer of specialty glass, commercial glass refrigerator and freezer doors, case lighting, and display and merchandising systems.  Glacier, a subsidiary of Universal Industries, is South Africa's leader in normal temp, beverage doors, and package doors for the commercial refrigeration industry.  Glacier and Anthony will strengthen Universal's efforts to penetrate South African, African, and Indian refrigeration markets.

This licensing agreement provides for Glacier to manufacture Anthony's state-of-the-art, energy-efficient door line, LED lighting systems, anti-fog doors and specialty glass for these international markets.  This arrangement allows Glacier to have a complete offering in the commercial refrigeration specialty glass market.
