Anvato Introduces New Cloud DVR Capabilities for TV Everywhere

LAS VEGAS, April 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Anvato, the complete TV Everywhere platform provider, today introduced Anvato Cloud DVR, a fully integrated, pure software cloud recording and storage solution for TV Everywhere. Expanding on the strengths of the Anvato Media Content Platform (MCP) and Anvato Watch offerings, Anvato Cloud DVR enables television broadcasters, networks and service providers to give viewers access to virtually any television content on any device with the tap of a finger, similar to the traditional living room experience with a set-top based digital video recorder.

No longer must viewers remember to set the recorder in order to have the ability to "go back in time" to watch their favorite episode or sporting event. With Anvato Cloud DVR, any or all of the channels available from a broadcast network or service provider can be accessed via the TV Everywhere application interface. This enhanced user interaction is tightly coupled with Anvato MCP, which is at work preparing the content on behalf of the broadcaster or service provider, with all the relevant metadata and dynamic ad insertion (DAI) functions required.
