AOFAS Hands Out Key Awards During Annual Meeting

Orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons celebrate scientific papers, posters

ROSEMONT, Ill., Aug. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Achilles tendon regeneration, function after a procedure for foot drop, and blood supply concerns after total ankle replacement were among the topics recognized when the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) honored scientific papers and posters at its Annual Meeting last month.

Presented on July 19, the prestigious paper awards went to the authors of the best research paper, best clinical paper and best international paper for 2013. Honorees in each category included:
