Apperian Announces Appointment of Brian Day to CEO
David Patrick Assumes New Role as Chairman
BOSTON, Dec. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Apperian® Inc., the mobile application management company, today announced that Brian Day has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Day previously held the role of President and Chief Financial Officer at Apperian and succeeds David Patrick, who is assuming the role of Chairman.

Mr. Day, who joined Apperian as CFO in May 2011 and was promoted to President earlier this year to support the company's swift growth, has spearheaded critical partnerships and has been instrumental in establishing Apperian's largest and most strategic enterprise customer relationships. In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Day will lead Apperian as the company sees continued customer growth and pipeline acceleration and will work closely with the senior team to execute its business strategy.
Mr. Day succeeds David Patrick, who served as CEO for more than four years. Mr. Patrick will remain active with Apperian and focus primarily on guiding the management team, offering strategic counsel, while continuing to serve in advisory roles to other organizations such as Chair of the Presidential Advisory Board for Berklee College of Music and advisor to several Boston-based software ventures.
