Appetising Opportunities at Food ingredients Philippines 2011

MANILA, Philippines, June 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The first Food ingredients (Fi) Philippines trade show will be held in Manila next month. The special event will present a unique opportunity for members of the domestic food industry to learn about the latest food ingredients and recent technologies, as they meet with manufacturers and suppliers from around the globe.

The trade show is an extension of the Food Ingredients Asia series, which has served the region for 15 years and attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors annually. Co-located with the 50th Annual Convention of PAFT

Fi Philippines will be held in conjunction with the conference "Food technology beyond boundaries", organised by the Philippine Association of Food Technologists (PAFT). Members of the International Union of Food Science & Technology (IUFoST) will be sharing their expertise on various topics.

PAFT has also invited the presidents and members of the Federation of Institutes of Food Science & Technology in ASEAN (FIFSTA) to speak at the convention. Challenges and opportunities faced by today's food technologists will be covered, as globalization within the industry continues.
