Appfluent Adds Business Development Executive

ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Appfluent Technology Inc., the leader in business activity and data usage software for Big Data and Analytics, announced that Steven Varsolona has joined as Director of Business Development.  Steve's experience spans over 15 years of senior leadership in enterprise software in the areas of data warehousing, enterprise information management, business intelligence and data quality.

Most recently, Steve was Director of Business Development at DataFlux, a SAS Company.  From 1999 to 2007, Steve held various senior leadership roles in business development, sales and marketing at Business Objects, and FirstLogic acquired by Business Objects in 2006.  He was Director EIM Sales at Business Objects and VP Strategic Markets and Director of Marketing at FirstLogic. He started his career at Motorola, leading finance and consulting efforts.
