Apple Launches iPad with PGA Pro Paul Azinger

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Legendary PGA Tour professional Paul Azinger partners with the makers of Apple's #1 Golf App, Golfshot: Golf GPS® to create the first universal instructional golf application based on actual golfer's stats.

Golfplan, available April 1st or 2nd on the iPhone and iPod touch, and April 3rd on the new iPad, will automatically identify areas that need improvement in a golfer's game and generate individualized practice plans to address those needs. Azinger, the victorious 2008 Ryder Cup captain who has won 17 professional golf titles and one major championship is the driving force behind Golfplan. Each instructional video performed by Azinger includes a repeatable Drill that helps users "Practice with Purpose."

For existing Golfshot: Golf GPS® or Golfshot Lite members, Golfplans are generated by the individual's recorded golf statistics on Golfshot.
