Applications Open for Launchpad Digital Health - Ground Zero

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Launchpad Digital Health, the leading next generation of seed funds + accelerator for digital health, is open for applications to its second cohort of companies for Launchpad Digital Health – Ground Zero (LDH-GZ). 

Launchpad Digital Health – Ground Zero (LDH-GZ) is a new, four-month digital health program for entrepreneurs desiring to pressure-test and expand their business. Ground Zero companies will be eligible for funding in multiple ways. The LDH-GZ second cohort runs from November 1, 2016 to February 28, 2017. The program includes co-location in our new headquarters in San Francisco, alongside LDH portfolio companies, mentors, and corporate partners. LDH-GZ is designed to immerse entrepreneurs in our digital health hub, testing and calibrating their business plans, operations, scaling, partnerships, and more.

We require no equity from companies in Ground Zero. The total cost for companies includes rent and all aspects of the program.

All companies, upon completion of the program, have opportunities for investment:

• The top company, judged by our experts at LDH (partners and advisors) will receive at least $100,000 investment.
• Three companies from GZ will present at the Launchpad Digital Health Finalist Day for consideration as LDH investments, which will be held in 2017.
• LDH-GZ graduates will be connected to our partnered healthcare funding networks, including preferential presentations with our new partners at Life Science Angels.

LDH-GZ also has corporate partnerships for this program. The AWS (Amazon Web Services) partnership for hosting credits alone allows for immediate payback of the program.
