Life Sciences and Clean Tech Companies Led By Women to Be Showcased
WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Springboard Enterprises announced its call for applicants for the AllThingsLifeSciences/CleanTech: 2010 venture capital forum. The forum offers women entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their businesses to angel, venture and corporate investors. The priority deadline for applications is March 17, 2010.
Since 2000, Springboard has produced 19 venture forums featuring over 400 women-led companies that have raised $5 billion in equity, grants and corporate investments and have provided positive returns for their investors, including 7 IPOs.

Applicants for the forum are qualified by an Investor Screening Committee including notable business leaders from firms such as: ATV Capital; Bristol-Meyers Squib; CHL Medical Partners; Early Stage Partners; Essex Woodlands Health Ventures; Flagship Ventures; New Enterprise Associates; Phenomenelle Angels; Quaker Bio Ventures; SMLS Venture Fund; Triathlon Medical Ventures; and VIMAC Ventures LLC.
Selected companies attend an entrepreneur Bootcamp and are assigned a coaching team to assist in refining their investor presentations. Springboard companies are showcased via virtual and in person meetings to maximize and deepen the connections between program participants and Springboard's international network of entrepreneurs, investors, sector experts and trusted business advisors.
