Arbor Solution Introduces LYNC-708 Touch Panel PC for Smart Building Management

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Arbor Solution announces the introduction of its latest embeddable computing solution designed for smart building management: the LYNC-708 Touch Panel PC. Powered by an Intel Atom N2600 processor and featuring an 8" touch screen, the LYNC-708 has a flexible modular design, which can be integrated into office buildings, commercial complexes and school campuses. The LYNC-708 lowers management costs by integrating a building system and its equipment and by providing a platform for monitoring and control at an economical price.

"With the growth of urban living, issues such as energy waste, security and management costs also rise, increasing the need for a comprehensive building management solution," said Brian Yurkiw, Arbor Solution vice president. "Our LYNC-708 industrial panel PC was designed to meet these unique requirements, delivering an interface where a smart building can be monitored, managed and controlled. With the LYNC-708, productivity and efficiency in building management can be increased, leading to lower overall costs," added Yurkiw.

The LYNC-708 empowers building management in terms of security, energy savings, automatic control and access monitoring. Building systems and equipment are integrated in one place, including surveillance, ventilation, air conditioning, fire detectors and alarm, lighting, parking deck systems, elevators and escalators, and various energy management systems. In addition to its cable and fan free design, the LYNC-708 features:
