Arelion connects OpenColo's Santa Clara data center to its North American AI superhighway

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Arelion today announced it has deployed a new Point-of-Presence (PoP) at OpenColo's Santa Clara site, enabling diverse connectivity that supports both enterprises and wholesale operators. This PoP gives OpenColo's customers access to Arelion's #1 ranked IP backbone via high-capacity cross-connects and its full ecosystem of content, cloud and AI providers. The network expansion supports customers in the AI and cloud infrastructure sectors, enabling low-latency service delivery as enterprises increasingly deploy bandwidth-intensive applications critical to innovation and growth in Silicon Valley.

OpenColo has over 20 years of experience providing colocation, hosting and cloud services to customers, with its Santa Clara site featuring 71,000 square feet and 2N power redundancy.
