"ARISE Europe" - Open Call for Innovation Centres
BRUSSELS, June 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
In order to boost the development of local Innovation and Education ecosystems, the "ARISE Europe" programme by EIT Digital* (previous EIT ICT Labs) is creating sustainable cooperation with local partners, such as accelerators, incubators, investors, innovation clusters.
EIT Digital has launched an Open Call addressing excellent Innovation Centres (e.g. accelerators incubators, regional clusters) willing to team up and co-invest with EIT Digital in order to boost the growth of their ecosystems (https://www.eitdigital.eu/arise/opencall )
Innovation Centres in the following countries can apply:
- Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
"The call-process gives Innovation Centres the chance to introduce themselves - their success stories and local ecosystems; their network; their technology, strategy and services -compete and, if selected, contribute to making their territories and innovation ecosystems, and the whole Europe THE real places for digital Innovation", explains Fabio Pianesi, Research Director of EIT Digital. EIT Digital will contribute to the collaboration its network, expertise and assets for Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation.
