Arizona Flower Market Honors Fallen Soldiers Memorial Day Weekend By Donating Red Roses & American Flags

PHOENIX, May 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials, particularly to honor those who have died in military service. In national cemeteries volunteers place an American flag on each grave. This year the Arizona Flower Market wants to help the communities honor those who have died while serving our country. On Memorial Day weekend, in honor of the fallen men and women of our military, the Arizona Flower Market will be donating to its customers a wrapped red rose, along with an American flag "made and sewn in America" to be placed on the grave of a fallen serviceman or woman. The 12"x8" American flags are compliant with the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona's (NMCA) guidelines. The donation will take place starting Friday, May 27^th thru Sunday, May 29th, during regular Market hours. "Memorial Day is a time to honor those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country," said Brad Denham, owner of the Arizona Flower Market. "We want to help the community honor these American heroes by donating flowers and American flags to be respectfully placed on the grave of a fallen soldier this Memorial Day weekend."

Event Details: Free roses and American flags will be donated to the first 500 customers who come into the Arizona Flower Market on Friday, May 27^th from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday, May 28^th from 7:00am-3:00pm and Sunday, May 29^th from 7:00am-12:00pm.  No purchase is necessary to receive the donation.
